It’s June 25, and Virginia became a state on this day in 1788.   Every year Virginia is the site of a large homeschool convention, and most years American School attends that convention in person.  We weren’t able to have a booth at that homeschooling convention this year, and the anniversary of Virginia statehood is a good opportunity for us to remind you that, as much as we would like to, it is simply not possible for us to attend every single homeschool convention across the country.  Each year we try to attend as many homeschooling conventions as possible, taking into consideration the size and location of the convention and other logistical factors.  We do our best to meet families all across the country, and if we are absent from a convention one year, we very well might return the following year as our schedule allows.  We are happy to serve students in Virginia and the other 49 states whether we see you in person or not.  Enroll and make us your distance education middle school or distance education high school today!
