It’s February 18, and Alessandro Volta was born on this date in 1745.  He was an Italian physicist who invented the electric battery.  You might be familiar with part of his name because the volt, a unit used to measure electric potential and often associated with batteries, is named after him.  Since Alessandro Volta was a physicist, today is a great day for us to spotlight our Physics courses.  We offer a Physics course among our high school correspondence courses and a Physics course among our online high school courses.  Both are worth one unit of credit and both have certain prerequisites which must be met before students can take either course.  Prerequisites are in place so that homeschool or independent study students can do their very best, not to restrict students from taking the classes they want.  If you’re ready to charge up your academic career we invite you to enroll today.  We look forward to serving you.
