It’s November 25, and Andrew Carnegie was born on this day in 1835.  He might be best-known for his work in the steel industry, or he might be best-known for his work as a philanthropist which included founding and funding more than 3000 public libraries throughout the United States and abroad.  Because he was a businessman who had several careers but also was devoted to education, it seems like an appropriate day to feature our Business, Career and Technical Education courses.  We offer dozens of them in print and online formats to help homeschooling students learn more about themselves and what careers suit them best.  Click the link earlier in this blog to learn more about them, and then add one or more to your accredited high school program or independent study high school program.  We look forward to helping you reach your educational goals after you enroll and become an industrious American School student!
