Today’s Birthday: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

It’s January 15, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on this day in 1929.  As we have in the past, we will use this occasion to refer you to the websites of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park and the King Center.  These websites will bring your homeschool courses to life and will provide you with a great deal of insight on Dr. King and his legacy.  Thank you for making us your distance learning middle school or distance learning high school.

I found all the material and methods extremely satisfying.  It made the classes simple enough to learn while still being able to enjoy the process!  I spent my first two years of high school in a public school, but American School made it an enjoyable experience while still giving me the education I need.  My parents have never been so proud to see so many good grades coming from a homeschool program.
