It’s October 14, and Dwight Eisenhower was born on this day in 1890. He was the 34th President of the United States, but before he took office in 1953, he was an accomplished general in the military. Today’s blog reminds you that if you are interested in joining the military after you earn a high school diploma from American School by taking our online high school courses or high school correspondence courses, please check with your desired branch to see what its requirements are. We are grateful for your future service and happy to support you however we can. If you’re interested in learning more about the life of Dwight Eisenhower, you’re encouraged to visit his presidential library, museum and boyhood home in Abilene, Kansas or click here to visit virtually. Thank you for homeschooling with us!
