It’s July 30, and automobile businessman Henry Ford was born on this day in 1863.  Many times in this blog we will encourage you to visit presidential libraries and museums or other historical sites as a way of making your accredited middle school courses or accredited high school courses come to life.  The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is one of several places you may wish to visit if you’re ever in Dearborn, Michigan, which is just west of Detroit.   As you might expect, the museum contains exhibits about cars, including presidential vehicles, but the museum also contains exhibits about math, clothing, art, aviation, history and much more.  A visit would be a great way to celebrate Henry Ford’s birthday and enhance what you’re learning with American School as you homeschool with us.  Keep checking this blog on a regular basis for future field trip suggestions!
