It’s November 26, and John Harvard was born on this date in 1607.  He died in 1638, but before he passed away he donated his library and a large amount of money to a newly-formed college in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.  That college would later become Harvard University, the oldest college in the United States and one of the most famous schools in the world.  Harvard is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which is not too far from where American School was founded in Boston.  We’re one of the oldest distance learning schools in the country, and sometimes students who complete our college preparatory program will ask us if they can be accepted at Harvard or other prestigious schools.  The answer is yes.  American School’s high school diploma program contains rigorous online high school courses or paper-based high school courses, and our graduates are accepted at colleges all across the country.  If you wish to earn a high school diploma at home and then attend college at the school of your choice, perhaps even Harvard, then we invite you to enroll today!
