It’s July 12, and Julius Caesar was born on this date in 100 B.C. Several years ago American School offered a Latin course in which students were asked to read from Caesar’s commentaries on the Gallic Wars. His commentaries began with the famous line, “Gaul is divided into three parts,” which for some reason always seemed to amuse the curriculum director at the time and the author of the Latin course study guide as well. These days at American School you might say that our accredited middle school program is divided into three parts. That’s because we offer paper-based middle school courses and online middle school courses for students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Each of the three years consists of five units of credit—one each in English, math, science and social studies and one elective. Students and families have enjoyed our middle school program very much, and we’re confident yours will as well. Enroll today!
