It’s February 7, and author Laura Ingalls Wilder was born on this date in 1867. She is best-known for her Little House on the Prairie children’s books which were adapted into a television series in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Her birthday got us thinking about American authors, and American School offers several courses which include works by male and female authors who call America home. Visit our English courses page to see an entire list. Courses may be taken as part of a full at home middle school program or at home high school program, or they may be taken individually for credit recovery or enrichment through our independent study program while students attend traditional schools. Find one or more which interest you and enroll today. We would be happy to serve you!
