It’s October 22, and artist N.C. Wyeth was born on this date in 1887. He is the father of Andrew Wyeth, another prominent artist, and the grandfather of Jamie Wyeth, a noted artist in his own right and also an American School student. N.C. Wyeth’s birthday and his family’s legacy of landscape art got us thinking about our Art: Drawing Landscapes course. It would be a fine addition to a correspondence high school diploma program.
