It’s August 14, and Tim Tebow turns 39 years old today. He won a Heisman Trophy and two national championships while playing football for the Florida Gators, but before he became one of the greatest college football players of all-time, he and his family made the choice to homeschool him. Although we don’t have the fortune to call him an American School student or graduate, his birthday is a chance for us to remind you of two things. First, if you take our accredited high school courses, you may be eligible to play high school sports at a local public or private high school. Check with your district or state to learn more. On the other hand, if you take any of our individual high school courses or even if you earn our accredited high school diploma, you are not eligible to play NCAA sports due to unfortunate philosophical differences between us and the NCAA.
