It’s August 12, and tonight the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox are playing in the Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa. The field is within walking distance of the smaller field used in the movie Field of Dreams and is built to resemble old Comiskey Park in Chicago while keeping much of the charm of the original movie field and set, including plenty of corn surrounding the field. The name of the movie got us thinking about different kinds of fields of dreams, particularly areas of study and possible careers. Students in our accredited middle school program and accredited high school program often have a pretty good idea of what they’d like to do when they grow up. Some want to be doctors or lawyers. Others want to be teachers. Still others want to be farmers or a skilled tradesperson. Whatever your dream career field is, American School has accredited middle school courses and accredited high school courses that can help make your dream come true. Our wide variety of elective courses is one thing that sets us apart from other schools. You can experience our elective courses as well as our affordable cost, caring student service and 124 years of credibility after you become our student. If you enroll, your first courses will come within a week and then you can go the distance and ultimately earn a high school diploma at home. Step into the batter’s box and get started today!
