Today’s Special Occasion: National Teachers Day

It’s May 4, and today we’re celebrating National Teachers Day. We’re happy to recognize our instructors who grade students’ exams in accredited middle school courses and accredited high school courses. Our instructors do much more than just correct papers and put a numeric grade on the first page of the exam. Rather, they call students by name and give constructive feedback on every exam they grade. Doing so allows us to make distance education as personal as possible. Even though our instructors usually don’t meet students face-to-face, they want students to succeed. That means they answer questions on the phone and reply to student emails in addition to grading exams. We are grateful for the work our instructors do to help our students earn a high school diploma at home and are pleased to have them on our staff.

Homeschooling has taught me a lot of new things. It has taught me self-discipline and made me take my studies more seriously than before. I have learned to study properly. The books and materials were very helpful. It is a fun experience to do homeschooling. Many people are amazed to know that I did homeschooling. This has opened and changed a lot of people’s minds.
