It’s April 8, and today a total solar eclipse will cross North America. The path of totality runs roughly from San Antonio, Texas in the southwest to Cleveland, Ohio in the northeast. Many communities within that path are having special events to safely view the eclipse, including one at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indy 500. Whether you live in the path of totality or not, today is a great day to safely experience the wonders of science and our solar system. Our Introduction to Astronomy course would be a wonderful addition to your curriculum of homeschool high school courses or independent study high school courses. If you haven’t enrolled with American School just yet, don’t be left in the dark. Ensure yourself a bright future and become our student today!
