Today’s blog contains information about what to do when our web sites our down. When we say “web sites” we are referring to our main web site, which is on one server, and to our online student center and online counselor office site, which is on another server and is a separate web site. If you notice any outages on either of our web sites please email us and include screenshots if you are able. Although we monitor the web sites as often as possible, even on nights and weekends, you may notice something that American School employees do not, and we want to get it fixed for you and our other homeschool students as quickly as possible. Please know that we share your frustration when it comes to web site issues and we apologize that you cannot access your records or online middle school courses or online high school courses when you want. At the same time, please know that we will try to fix the site(s) as quickly as possible, but sometimes fixing a web site is not easy and can take time. Sometimes there are widespread outages beyond our control. In these situations, we will do our best to you keep you and other students informed. Thank you for your patience and understanding and for making us your distance learning middle school or distance learning high school.
