Metalworking skills are used in a wide range of professions such as automotive repair, HVAC systems, machine shop work, as well as manufacturing jobs. Students will gain a basic understanding of careers available in metalworking as well as an introduction to skills useful on many jobs. This course provides an introduction to the commonly used equipment, methods, and materials used for various industrial metalworking processes, but doesn’t require hands-on activity with tools or working onsite.
